South African Hoodia Gordonii farmers are required to meet several conditions: (1)Have a license to act as a Hoodia Gordoni farmer (2) hold a valid export license (3)  Obtain what is called a C.I.T.E.S certificate in order to  legally export the Hoodia Gordonii you have grown.

Want to know how you are buying real South African Hoodia Gordonii? Look for a copy of these credentials along with other documents like a Alkemists Labs report.  Buy from a company not willing to display these documents is a sign that they are running with bogus or inferior product material. 

All shipments to the USA of Hoodia Gordonii powder must also be accompanied by an Assay known as a Certificate of Analysis (C&A) which is a document which declares facts such as Country of Origin, Material Name, and verification that the material has passed a Microbiological battery of tests for levels of pesticide and other contaminants.
